As dancers who lived inside this production for decades, we wanted to pay our own tribute to the ballet that sometimes feels like a marathon disguised as a holiday tradition. Our concept goes beyond what is presented onstage. We build from the backstage chaos, the understudy panic, the quick change sprinting, and the moments only dancers ever witness. You will not find lame or basic ideas here. This is our lived experience stitched into apparel, imagined from the parts of the ballet that never make it into the program notes. At the end of the day, we are the ones who bring the Trauma to the Ballet Club.
