Ballet Trauma Club: Piqué Penché-ing into 2025 with New Goals and Inspiration

As we piqué-penché into a brand-new year, we at Ballet Trauma Club are filled with excitement, creativity, and a renewed commitment to our mission. 2024 was a transformative year for us—from launching our first designs to building a community of passionate dancers who inspire us every day. Now, we’re ready to take 2025 by storm with fresh ideas, new collections, and a continued focus on celebrating the resilience and humor that make the dance world so special.

Reflecting on 2024: Our Journey So Far

When Ballet Trauma Club started in September 2024, our goal was simple: to create apparel that speaks to the heart of every dancer who’s laughed through the pain, pushed past the bruised toenails, and embraced the chaos on and off stage. Thanks to your support, we’ve grown into a thriving community of dancers who value creativity, authenticity, and a little bit of sass. In just four months, we:

  • Shipped over 50 to dancers across the U.S.
  • Launched 21 unique designs (including our Halloween and Holiday exclusives) that celebrated the grit and grace of the dance world
  • Built a growing social media presence with 281 followers and counting
  • Achieved a 100% conversion rate during our first month of launch

Ballet Trauma Club is proudly run by one person who handles everything from designing and printing to shipping and customer support. But it doesn’t feel like a solo journey—your support, feedback, and enthusiasm have made this a collaborative effort every step of the way. While it’s a labor of love, we’re dreaming of growing Ballet Trauma Club into a team effort, with more hands to bring even more exciting ideas to life.

What’s Ahead in 2025?

This year, we’re dreaming even bigger. Here are some of the exciting things we have planned:

1. Expanding Our Collections

We’re diving into new designs that celebrate the grit and grace of dancers everywhere. Think more witty slogans, relatable imagery, and stylish pieces that you’ll love to wear in and out of the studio. You spoke, and we listened! This year, we’re introducing new cuts of tees such as crops and tanks, along with exploring the possibility of sweatpants and socks. Most exciting of all, we’re determined to start stocking your favorite designs as stickers! Of course, our emotional therapy doggo, Boy Boy, will be featured because he is the most photogenic and popular of them all.

Our goal is to release at least 10 new designs this year. Keep an eye out for sneak peeks on our site and social media—you won’t want to miss what’s coming!

2. Wholesale Opportunities

We’re exploring the possibility of offering wholesale quantities of our signature tees. Whether you’re outfitting an entire dance school or stocking up for recital season, we want to make it easier for you to bring Ballet Trauma Club to your community. By mid-year, we aim to launch a wholesale program with order minimums starting at 25 units per design.

3. Engaging with Our Community

Our community is at the heart of everything we do. This year, we’re finding new ways to connect, from interactive social media campaigns to blog content that speaks to your experiences. By the end of 2024, we connected with dancers from around the world and grew our Instagram following to over 281 dancers. In 2025, we hope to reach 1000 followers and host at least three giveaways to give back to our loyal fans. Have a story or idea to share? We’d love to hear it! Ballet Trauma Club isn’t just a brand; it’s a community, and your input shapes everything we do.

4. Sustainability and Growth

As a small business, we’re always looking for ways to grow responsibly. In 2025, we’re focusing on refining our processes to ensure we’re delivering high-quality products while staying true to our values. Our goal is to reduce production waste by 10% and explore eco-friendly packaging options for all orders. Together, we can build a more sustainable future for our community and beyond.

Thank You for Dancing with Us

To every dancer who’s worn our tees, shared a laugh over our designs, or supported us along the way—thank you. Ballet Trauma Club exists because of you, and we’re endlessly inspired by your strength, humor, and passion. Together, we’re more than a brand; we’re a movement of dancers who celebrate the beauty of imperfection and the power of resilience.

Here’s to a year of bold leaps, graceful landings, and everything in between. We can’t wait to share this journey with you.

With gratitude and excitement,
Sharon
