Why We’re Taking an Intentional Pause
Since launching Ballet Trauma Club in September 2024, we’ve been moving almost nonstop.
From the outside, it might look like a small brand quietly doing its thing. Behind the scenes, it has been hands-on fulfillment, learning on the fly, adjusting systems, and showing up consistently for a community that grew faster than we ever expected.
This post is here to share why we’re taking a short pause, what that pause actually means, and why it matters to us.

What This Pause Looks Like
During this pause, checkout on the Ballet Trauma Club shop is temporarily unavailable. You can still browse the shop and add items to your wishlist.
We will be reopening for orders from February 16 through March 8, with orders shipping between February 25 and March 12.
Behind the scenes, this time is being used to reevaluate how fulfillment works, explore alternative fulfillment options, and make thoughtful improvements that support the brand long-term.
This is not about cutting corners or scaling too fast. It’s about building something that can last.
Slowing Down to Be More Intentional
We’re also using this time to refocus creatively.
Social media often rewards constant output, but constant output isn’t always aligned with meaningful connection. During this pause, we’re choosing to share more intentionally. That means more thoughtful content, more humor, more honesty, and yes, more memes.
Because Ballet Trauma Club has always lived at the intersection of discipline and humanity. The laugh and the cry. The technique and the feelings.
Not an Ending, Just a Reset
It’s important to say this clearly. Ballet Trauma Club is not phasing out. We’re not closing. We’re not retiring the brand.
This pause is a reset.
In ballet, pauses are part of the choreography. They give shape to the movement. They allow space for breath. The same is true in building something creative and sustainable.
Thank You for Being Here
We’re incredibly grateful for the patience, trust, and support of this community. Ballet Trauma Club exists because of the people who see themselves in it and continue to show up.
We’ll be sharing updates along the way, and our mailing list will always be the first place we announce when checkout reopens.
Thank you for dancing through this pause with us.
